Do you address HYPERthyroid in your protocol? When I had HYPOthyroid there was so much information available. This week I was diagnosed with Grave's (switched in a six month period). I'm 47, I've taken Lisinopril for 1 year for hypertension, I'm 20lbs above ideal weight since having kids, was drinking alcohol too much (6 drinks a wk), stressed. It is hard to find information on diet designed to calm thyroid. I see you include seaweed. Because of iodine, I can't eat it and have to be careful with other seafood. I thought eating salads and drinking smoothies was safe, now I've read veggies should be cooked (but not overcooked!). I'm completely on board with whatever I need to do, I'm very confused on what is best for me. Nuts, cruciferous, lectins, yes/no? I'm already gluten free. I cut coffee and started drinking a mushroom drink, then I came across maybe I shouldn't eat mushrooms. I've cut out alcohol. I want to avoid meds if possible. Thank you
Grave's Disease, do you address appropriate foods?
Hi, I've tried to send a message through the help button, but it keeps saying error and I have to sign n (already signed in), so I'm posting here in hopes someone will see. I watched the videos titled November and December, but my questions were not included and they were posted in November. Should I wait for the December? My subscription was a one month gift, so it will probably run out before the next video. There's very little information on Graves Disease and the right foods. Since my thyroid is running high, I don't want to rev it up more. I have not bought the book, I want to know if it is also good for people with Graves. I don't want to take meds, but realize I may have to temporarily. Thanks
I entered these on the official form. But this page is confusing as it says Monthly Q&A, but I don't think these are reviewed.
