At 72 years old, I've tried to eat healthy my whole life with brown rice, whole wheat bread, non-processed Foods, etc, and fresh vegetables. But one day, many years ago, I found out that frozen vegetables have one advantage: they are frozen quickly after harvest and retain a lot of nutrients because of that, and vegetables that you buy in the store are generally days if not weeks old, which means they've lost a lot of their nutrients. After learning this I continued to purchase fresh vegetables, but kept frozen vegetables on hand for times when I wanted to have vegetables with my meal but didn't have any fresh ones available. I know that the Wahls Protocol promotes always having fresh vegetables, I would like to hear opinions on the frozen vegetables advantage. I am now on day 7 of the Wahls Paleo Diet, after being diagnosed with PMR in recent months. And I am not on prednisone. I haven't yet touched my frozen vegetables in the freezer.

Steve, frozen vegetables are approved on the protocol and a good option.
