A Endocrinologist told my wife about four years ago that a green drink smoothie such as one made with Kale provided no nutrition unless it was kind of chewed to make sure enough saliva was mixed in. Is this accurate?
I would not say it has no nutrition but by chewing you will digest and absorb it better. When we chew we release digestive enzymes that help us digest and absorb the nutrients in the food we eat. Beth-team Wahls
