Hi! I have a question for Dr. Wahls: I am 48F and some signs point to a diagnosis of PPMS (my gait is fine for now though). I am scared by what I read about PPMS and it being diagnosed at a later age, like mine—prognoses are worse. Apparently life span is shorter than RRMS. I am curious: How do late-diagnosed, late-onset PPMS patients with relatively little gait impairment fare on the protocol? Anything they need to know to optimize their quality of life? Are insights/lessons Dr. Wahls documents for her SPMS the same as for PPMS? Thank you. A.
